Water and Compressed Air Rinsing for Drum Filter

Always up to date!

Available for stripper with drum filter

The experienced design engineers from SCHMID systematically work on the optimization of our machines. Within this framework upgrades are regularly developed, which are completely compatible with your machines and can be built in by our service technicians – an investment that pays. Take advantage of this! Increase your yield on a long-lasting basis!

Previous Application

Upgrade: Water and compressed air rinsing for drum filter

Advantages

In the present process water is used to clean the drum filter from resist sludge. The resist waste is diluted with water resulting in higher costs for disposal. Moreover, the water rinse can also lead to a dilution of the process chemistry over a longer period of time. It is therefore a sensitive issue in terms of process stability.

A combination of water and compressed air for cleaning the drum of resist sludge allows a much more effective cleaning. This has a positive effect on the stability of the process, in particular the use of compressed air for cleaning the drum filter leads to less dilution of the process chemistry.

  • Combination of water and compressed air
  • More effective cleaning
  • Increased process stability
  • Less dilution of process chemistry
  • Less water in the resist waste
