Director Development (m/f/d) Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB)

Your tasks:

  • Head of the Development Department with professional and disciplinary guidance of the VRFB development team
  • Responsibility for the R&D Roadmap
  • Responsibility for achieving development targets on time and budget
  • Coordination and interface for communication to all development partners
  • Reporting to management and preparation of decision proposals
  • Continuous technical competition monitoring

Your profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or comparable, doctoral degree is a bonus
  • Minimum 5 years of sound experience in a comparable position leading a multidisciplinary development project team
  • Experienced in leading a complex technological development project in battery or fuel cell technology with high level of Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Material Science and Physics
  • Ideally experienced in Flow battery development
  • Confident manner, moderating personality with the ability to prevail
  • Process-oriented and structured thinking with pragmatic approach
  • Skilled to work in international team across different locations
  • Good English skills in writing and speaking is an absolute precondition, preferred in combination with German skills
