Highlights Business Unit Photovoltaics

The Alkaline Edge Isolation Inline System achieves a perfect edge isolation with an alkaline solution instead of nitric acid (HNO3) that is difficult to handle. The effect: lower process costs and no polluting nitrogen oxide (NOX) that is expensive to dispose of. In addition, the system can be used for polishing the rearside of the wafer.

The 5500 Series APCVD System is well suited for continuous low cost high volume processing of substrates requiring single as well as multi-layer thin films. SCHMID’s in-line system design assures that each substrate receives the same process treatment. The energy efficient precision film deposition provides unequaled economical performance.

Highlights Business Unit Energy Systems

The EverFlow® Storage Container is installed in projects from kW to MW scale. A single 20’ container typically offers 50 kW of power and a capacity of 200 kWh. Storage Containers can be integrated in neighborhood power stations and car charging stations or large scale projects. The batteries are scalable, intrinsically safe, and fast and easy to install, since all components and tanks are integrated in a container.

The EverFlow® Telecom Storage is a stationary energy storage solution designed for telecommunication sites based on the powerful Vanadium Redox Flow Technology. It is the perfect energy backup for On- and Off-grid telecommunication towers, because it requires low maintenance and is unattractive to theft since there is no second usage life for the components.
