Advantages
The filter cartridges in the filter need to be changed on a regular scale in order to guarantee the process quality. Cleaning does not happen during the ongoing production process. When changing the filter cartridges, ammonia vapors are released, so that appropriate protective precautions must be taken by the employee (clothing, ventilation).
With the Elofast filter backwashing the chemistry in the filter is replaced by rinsing water. This allows for a more service-friendly filter change thanks to less ammonia odor nuisance.
