Advantages
Without a soft start of the process pumps, pipings and flowmeters with float are exposed to a certain hydraulic load. As a result the service life of the components is reduced and premature replacement of the parts is required. Should the process pumps not already be equipped with a soft starter or frequency converter as standard, these can be retrofitted at any time.
The hydraulic load to the of pipings and flowmeters with float is significantly reduced by the soft start of the process pumps. The use of a soft starter thus protects the components and thus increases their service life and durability.
